Portrait of Delia Accetti is a painting by Alberto Salietti, executed in 1923. Salietti (1892–1961) was an Italian painter born in Ravenna who trained at the Brera Academy in Milan under Cesare Tallone and Mentessi until 1914, following his father’s career as a decorator.

After service in the First World War, Salietti resumed his artistic practice and achieved significant professional recognition. Beginning in 1920, he exhibited regularly at the Venice Biennale, and his work was shown at major international venues including the Barcelona International (1929), the Budapest International (1936), and the Paris World Exposition (1937). In 1942 he received the Grand Prize for painting at Venice. His later career brought further honours, including the gold medal at the Premio del Fiorino in Florence in 1961.
