Thematic Map with Curated Route + GPX Download
The difference between a map and a route
Proximity map
Shows nearby heritage pins around your venue. Interactive, embeddable. No curated order.
Curated route
Ordered stops, walking distances, a narrative thread connecting the buildings. Your venue is the anchor point — the logical place to stay or eat before or after the walk.
What a curated CHO route looks like
CHO uses the actual GPS coordinates of each building. The route is editorially curated — stops are ordered for narrative coherence (period, style, proximity), not just sorted by distance.
The route is downloadable for any device
Universal format
Works in OsmAnd (Android/iOS), Garmin devices, Komoot, Google Maps import, AllTrails. One file, every app.
Google Earth / Maps
KML version also generated. Guests with Google Maps can import and navigate directly.
On your website
The interactive map is embeddable on your own site — one iframe, no plugin, no maintenance.
Your guests can download the route the night before their visit and walk it offline. CHO hosts the GPX files permanently — you do not need to update them.
