About Carlo Montani

Born in Saluzzo in 1868, Montani moved to Turin as a young man before relocating to Rome, where he studied at the Istituto Tecnico Industriale and became active in artistic societies including the Circolo Artistico Internazionale. He refined his painting technique under the guidance of Filiberto Petiti and worked as a correspondent and critic for major Italian newspapers including the Secolo XIX. Montani died in Rome in 1936.
