Ten heritage sites in one summer loop through the Greek mainland: the Acropolis of Athens, then down into the Peloponnese for Bronze Age Mycenae, the theatre of Epidaurus, Byzantine Mystras and Olympia; back through central Greece to the oracle at Delphi, the mosaics of Hosios Loukas and the rock monasteries of Meteora; then north to the royal tombs of Vergina and Byzantine Thessaloniki. A drivable classical circuit, timed for the long light and open-air festivals of the Greek summer. Each stop links to its full entry in the archive; download the GPX or KML for your own navigator.
