History
Built in 1916, the City Hall served as Wishek’s administrative center throughout the twentieth century. In April 2010, the Wishek City Council voted to transfer the building to the Wishek Heritage Society for restoration and preservation. The council later reversed this decision, judging the restoration burden too great for the nonprofit organization. The Heritage Society pursued legal action; the resolution of that lawsuit remains unrecorded.
