History
Andrea Palladio designed and constructed Villa Godi in 1542 as part of his prolific contribution to the architectural tradition of the Veneto region. By the mid-twentieth century, the villa had fallen into decay. In 1962, Professor Remo Malinverni acquired the property in a deteriorated state and committed his final years to its restoration. His dedication returned the villa to its historical magnificence. Since 1996, Villa Godi Malinverni has been recognized as part of the UNESCO World Heritage site designation for the Palladian Villas of the Veneto.
