History
Carlo Cordellina Molin, a prominent Venetian jurisconsult, commissioned the villa in the 1730s. Construction began in 1735 and proceeded through the mid-18th century. In 1742, architect Giorgio Massari prepared designs for the barchesse (agricultural outbuildings), which were completed around 1760. Francesco Muttoni collaborated on the project, contributing to its architectural refinement.

Giorgio Massari drew openly on Palladian modules to shape the villa’s design, creating harmonious proportions and classical vocabulary. The main residence exemplifies the restrained elegance characteristic of Venetian Enlightenment architecture. The barchesse, completed a generation after the main house, completes the traditional tripartite villa complex, with service buildings framing the noble residence.
