Casaleone
Casaleone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona, in the Veneto region of north-eastern Italy. Lying in the lowland plain about 35 kilometres south-east of Verona and roughly 90 kilometres south-west of Venice, it is a small agricultural town with a population of around 6,000 residents.

History
Casaleone developed as an agricultural settlement in the fertile Po Valley plain south of Verona. Like many towns of the lower Veronese, its life has long centred on farming the reclaimed lowlands. Its patron saint is Saint Blaise, celebrated each year on 3 February.
