History
Commissioned by Strasbourg’s male choral society, the Palais des Fêtes opened in 1903 as a dedicated performance space. For over seven decades, it functioned as the primary concert hall and residence of the city’s philharmonic orchestra, hosting celebrated musicians from across Europe. After the orchestra relocated in 1975, the venue continued its cultural mission under protected status.
