A winged figure draws a bow; below it fly four-engined aircraft, and lower still a streamlined train runs across the foot of the sheet.
Across the top is cut the line Industrie italiane in linea. The winged figure fills the upper half, wings spread, bow bent upwards. Three aircraft cross the middle of the sheet in formation. At the bottom a streamlined railcar passes at speed — Piaggio built aircraft and railway rolling stock long before the Vespa. In large letters at the foot: PIAGGIO & C.
The sheet belongs to the same 1939 advertising series as the Ilva woodcut, and is attributed to the same engraver, Daniele Fontana (Milan, 15 May 1900 – Sala Comacina, 29 September 1984).
