Verona Fair

Italy’s third-largest exhibition complex, hosting over 1.3 million visitors annually across thirteen halls spanning 310,000 square meters.

At a glance

The Verona Fair represents one of Italy’s most significant trade and exhibition venues. Today it operates from a sprawling modern complex in the industrial zone south of the city, featuring 157,000 square meters of covered space divided among thirteen exhibition halls, plus conference facilities.

History

Founded in 1898, the Verona Fair began as Fieracavalli, attracting the future King Vittorio Emanuele III to its inaugural event held in what is now Piazza Cittadella. The fair expanded steadily, adding new exhibition sectors and outgrowing its original location.

Following the Second World War, Verona’s municipal administration relocated the fair to its current site, where operations commenced in 1948. The move proved essential as the fair’s prominence continued to grow across multiple industrial and commercial sectors.
