Stade Quillorama
A Streamline Moderne ballpark on the St. Lawrence, built for municipal recreation and still hosting professional baseball more than eight decades later.

Stade Quillorama seats 3,700 spectators, with an outdoor patio adding room for 500 more. It is the home field of the Trois-Rivières Aigles of the Frontier League. The venue also hosts the Trois-Rivières Jr. Aigles, a junior team competing in the Ligue de Baseball Junior Élite du Québec.
History
Completed in 1938, the stadium opened as the Stade Municipal de Trois-Rivières. Architects Ernest Denoncourt and Jules Caron gave it its Streamline Moderne character. Baseball has run through it ever since. The original Trois-Rivières Aigles played here in the Eastern League from 1971 to 1977. The junior Jr. Aigles began the same year and remain in place today. In 2003 the Trois-Rivières Saints, of the short-lived Canadian Baseball League, took the field. The Can-Am League arrived in 2012, bringing a new incarnation of the Aigles by 2013; the club now plays in the Frontier League. On August 28, 2015, 6,022 fans packed the stands, a stadium record, to watch former Major League pitcher Éric Gagné start for the Aigles in a 5–3 win over the Québec Capitales.

The building carries the smooth lines and horizontal massing typical of Streamline Moderne design. It reads as a compact, functional grandstand rather than a monumental sports palace. Seating wraps close to the field. The patio beyond the outfield opens the stadium’s edge to a more casual crowd, blending fixed bleacher seating with informal standing space.
Cultural significance
Few ballparks in Quebec have carried so many names and so many teams under one roof. From municipal stadium to Stade Fernand-Bédard, to Stade Stéréo Plus, to Quillorama since 2019, its identity has shifted with sponsorship, never with function. It remains a working amateur and professional field, heritage-listed and still filling seats.
