The garden’s rectangular geometry and axial layout reflect classical Islamic garden principles. Water—channelled from source to gate—creates living galleries of fountains and basins that punctuate the descent. At the upper terminus stands a two-storey residence; at the lower end, an entrance pavilion frames the visitor’s approach.

Shazdeh Garden exemplifies the Persian chahar bagh (fourfold garden) concept, wherein geometry, water, plantings, and architecture unite to create earthly paradise.
