The Coastal Heritage Museum documents the formative years of Citrus County’s western communities. A 1929 diorama of downtown Citrus Avenue offers a detailed snapshot of local commerce and streetscape during the Depression era. The preserved fish house facade reflects the region’s historical relationship with marine resources and labor.
