Two elaborately decorated towers command attention—each fitted with functional bells and defensive netting. The entrance features an alcove densely populated with Christian sculptures, secured behind high iron gates and protective mesh. Remarkably, the netting that guards the towers does not prevent local storks from nesting on the highest ledges, making them a living part of the building’s presence.

The church’s name—”Redonda,” meaning rounded—preserves the architectural memory of an earlier building.
