History
The station was erected in 1904 as the railway network expanded into suburban Berlin. Its name has shifted four times over the past century, reflecting changing urban geography and local geography. Originally called Zehlendorf-Beerenstraße, it became Zehlendorf-West in 1911, then Lindenthaler Allee in 1958, before acquiring its current name, Mexikoplatz, in 1987.
