A historic Venetian farmstead transformed into a modern cultural and entrepreneurial hub, the Ca Tron Estate preserves centuries of agricultural heritage while hosting contemporary innovation and creative ventures.
At a glance
The Ca Tron Estate occupies 1,100 hectares of land in the Veneto countryside. Once a working farm managed by the Tron family, it now serves as headquarters for BigRock, a startup incubator that has restored several abandoned farmhouses on the property. The auditorium functions as a cultural and events venue within this evolving estate.
History
The area shows evidence of human settlement dating to ancient times. In 2003, archaeologists discovered the remains of a wooden bridge along the route of the ancient Via Annia, dated to 3,000–3,200 years ago—proof that the road and surrounding civilization existed in the pre-Paleoveneta era.
The locality was once a fief of the Collalto family and bore the name Cal di Meolo, derived from a road leading to the nearby town of Meolo. In the 16th century, patrician members of the Tron family purchased land here and established a farm. The parish was formally established in 1935, separating the territory from San Cipriano and Musestre.

Cultural significance
Ca Tron represents a bridge between Veneto’s agricultural past and its contemporary creative economy.
