Free managed open access to Stonehenge for the summer solstice sunrise, 21 June 2026 (sunrise ~04:52). Annual tradition, thousands of visitors.
On 21 June 2026, English Heritage opens Stonehenge free of charge for the summer solstice, allowing visitors to walk among the stones and witness the sunrise align with the Heel Stone.
