Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith – Hotel Sidi Driss Matmata final scene (2005)

In Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (dir. George Lucas, 2005), the Hotel Sidi Driss troglodyte dwelling in Matmata, Tunisia was used as the Lars Homestead on Tatooine. The film ends with Owen and Beru Lars receiving infant Luke Skywalker and watching the twin suns set over the desert, filmed at this location, providing the emotional bookend connecting the prequel trilogy to the original Star Wars of 1977.
