La mostra riflette sulla tradizionale concezione della vetrina e sulla sua centralità nei progetti espositivi, dove separa e al contempo espone l’oggetto.
Anticipata nella Permanente da un intervento speciale dell’artista contemporaneo Theo Eshetu, la mostra nelle sale Focus sarà suddivisa fra una sezione dedicata alla storia della vetrina e una seconda che vede la teca espositiva al centro della pratica contemporanea di Mark Dion, Sam Durant e Monia Ben Hamouda, che presenta un intervento inedito.
