Giuseppe Terragni died at Como on 19 July 1943, at thirty-nine, having come home broken from the Russian front. What remains are the buildings he is remembered for: the Novocomum in Como and, with Pietro Lingeri, Casa Rustici and Casa Toninello in Milan.
