Battista «Pinin» Farina (Cortanze, 2 novembre 1893 – Losanna, 3 aprile 1966), fondatore nel 1930 della carrozzeria che porta il suo nome, morì a 72 anni. Nel 1961 il cognome della famiglia e dell’azienda era stato unificato per legge in «Pininfarina». Anniversario documentato da Cultural Heritage Online.
