Death Anniversary: Max Neufeld — December 2, 1967
Max Neufeld died in Vienna on 2 December 1967. He had returned to Austria in 1948, after fifteen years of work in Italian cinema; the title of his most successful Italian film, Mille lire al mese, entered the language as the name of a modest ambition.
