CARTHAGO – Il mito immortale: guided tour of the exhibition
Inside the Colosseum, an exceptional exhibition told the story and civilisation of one of the most powerful and wealthy cities of the Mediterranean. Loans from major national and international museums traced a narrative running from the Phoenician founding of Carthage, through its wars with Rome, to the founding of the Roman-era Colonia Carthago, and on to the evidence of Christianity, for which Carthage became a driving centre.
