Birth Anniversary: Vincenzo Agnetti — September 14, 1926

Vincenzo Agnetti was born in Milan on 14 September 1926. He trained at the Brera academy and at the school of the Piccolo Teatro, and started out at the end of the Fifties between informal painting and poetry, close to Enrico Castellani and Piero Manzoni at the Azimut gallery. In 1962 he stopped: he left for Argentina and spent five years automating hydroelectric plants. He came back to art in 1967 and never left it again.
