Born in Florence on 1 February 1690 into an aristocratic dynasty of violin masters and painters. Nicknamed un capo pazzo for his fiery eccentric genius and proud virtuosity, he toured Venice, London and Dresden, where his dazzling violin technique and theatrical expressive power famously inspired Giuseppe Tartini to withdraw and redesign his own bow technique.

Italy sets its own dates, and they are published a few weeks ahead.
