A filling station shaped like the bridge of a lake steamer, designed by Mario Cereghini on the shore at Lecco and still selling fuel.

On the Lungolario Piave in Lecco, right on the shore, Mario Cereghini built a service station that looks like the bridge of a boat: a flat canopy edged with railings and a small cylindrical tower rising above it like a funnel. It is still a filling station, today under the Tamoil brand. The Lombardy heritage catalogue dates it to 1933 and names Cereghini alone; other accounts give 1936 and add Enrico Agostino Griffini.

The service station is listed by the Lombardy heritage catalogue among the architecture of the region, with its original use unchanged. The two dates in the sources are both reported here because we have not found a document that settles the question.
What you see
A low white block under a projecting canopy with a continuous railing, like a deck. Above it rises a short white cylinder crowned by a ring of rails. The lake opens behind it, with the mountains on the far shore.
