The sheet is monochrome: white line on deep blue. At the top left the company mark and the name Officine Galileo. The instrument runs diagonally across the whole surface — a large refractor on an equatorial mount, its tube banded with rings, the counterweight at the lower left. The ribs of the dome and the open slit are drawn behind it. At the foot of the mount a figure stands with one arm raised, small enough to show how big the instrument is. Across the bottom, in wide letters: Strumenti astronomici. A small signature is printed vertically in the lower left margin.
Officine Galileo, with its origins in nineteenth-century Florence and in the workshop tradition associated with Giovanni Battista Amici, was among the Italian makers of precision optical and scientific instruments.

The sheet carries a signature that we have not been able to read with certainty, so the author is not identified and the copyright term cannot be calculated: the work is therefore treated as protected.
