Sonora: Sound Experiences at the Botanical Garden of Palermo

CoopCulture brings Sonora to Sicily: guided narrations interwoven with listening sessions, with music chosen by the musicologist and composer Giovanni Bietti. Part of the cooperative’s wider Multipli format alongside Movimenta and Trame, the Sicilian dates run beside sister evenings at the Case del Celio in Rome, Villa Monastero in Varenna and Miramare Castle in Trieste.

On two summer Saturdays the Botanical Garden of Palermo becomes a natural theatre: an expert guide walks visitors among the monumental trees, telling their stories in sync with pieces inspired by dawns, sunsets and nocturnes of the great composers.
