23rd Marrakech International Film Festival

The Marrakech International Film Festival is one of Africa’s premier cinema events, drawing major international talent to the medina for nine days of competition screenings, galas, and tributes. The 23rd edition runs under the presidency of acclaimed director Bong Joon-ho, showcasing 82 films from 31 countries. La Mamounia, the storied palace hotel steps from the festival venues, serves as the social epicenter of the event.
