History
Founded in 1970 by Ivo Rambaldi, the park originated as an inventive response to the challenge of experiencing Italy’s diverse monuments in a single location. The Rambaldi family maintained ownership through decades of growth. In recent years, Costa Edutainment S.p.a. assumed stewardship, integrating Italy in Miniature into a portfolio that includes the water parks Acquafan and Oltremare di Riccione.
