Rogue One: A Star Wars Story — Jedha City at Dubrovnik (2016)

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (directed by Gareth Edwards, 2016) used Dubrovnik’s old city streets and harbour area as the occupied city of Jedha. Marketplace sequences were filmed near the Stradun. The old city’s dense stone architecture and narrow lanes provided the visual texture of an occupied holy city under Imperial control. The film was released in December 2016.
