History
The Palazzo dell’INA is recorded as a project by the architects Giovanni Muzio, Mario Paniconi, Giulio Pediconi and Gabriele Lungarella, as listed in the architectural database Divisare. The building is part of the EUR district of Rome. According to Stefano Vigolo, the photographs were taken in 2010. No document in the sources found gives a date for the reliefs themselves, nor does any name an artist for them.
What you see
The first photograph shows a marble bas-relief with a winged angel, standing figures, a draped woman, a seated mother with child, and a crocodile above stylized waves. The second shows a central draped figure raising a torch, flanked by groups of classical nudes and a reclining figure below. The wider photographs show the reliefs set into the corner of a long, curved white building with a colonnade, seen from across a road.
