The Maritime Experiential Museum opened on 15 October 2011. It operated for nearly nine years as a cultural institution before closing on 2 March 2020. The museum’s closure marked a transition as its collections and focus became integrated into the Singapore Oceanarium, an expanded evolution of the former S.E.A. Aquarium.
