Comme chez Soi earned its first Michelin star in 1953. Under the ownership and direction of Pierre Wynants, the restaurant ascended to three-star status, maintaining that elite ranking for 27 years. When Wynants stepped down in 2006, he passed leadership to his son-in-law, Lionel Rigolet. The transition prompted a downgrade to two stars. In 2022, the restaurant was reduced to one star.
