History
Designed by architects Léon Guiannotte and André Watteyne, the Church of St. Augustine was built between 1932 and 1935. It stands alongside two other pioneering concrete churches in Brussels: the Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Koekelberg and the Church of St. John the Baptist in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. The building was granted protected status on 8 August 1988.
