Born in Bari in 1901, Boccasile developed his design practice across several European cities. After moving to Milan in 1925 following his father’s death, he worked with the Mauzan-Morzenti Agency before establishing his own publicity agency, ACTA, in Galleria del Corso alongside Franco Aloi. His graphic work encompassed poster design, fashion magazine illustration, and commercial commissions. Between 1932 and his return to Milan, Boccasile spent time in Paris, where his work was featured in a dedicated issue of Paris Tabou and he exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants. His designs became known for their visual sophistication and refined approach to commercial imagery during the interwar period.
