Birth Anniversary: Vittorio Jano — April 22, 1891
Vittorio Jano (San Giorgio Canavese, 22 April 1891 – Turin, 13 March 1965) designed engines and racing cars. He joined Fiat in 1911 and from 1923 was chief designer at Alfa Romeo, for which he drew the P2 (1924) and the P3, as well as the 6C and 8C road cars. He later moved to Lancia and to Ferrari.
