Nascita di Pier Luigi Nervi
Pier Luigi Nervi (Sondrio, 21 giugno 1891 – Roma, 9 gennaio 1979), ingegnere, fu un maestro del cemento armato. Fra le due guerre firmò lo Stadio Giovanni Berta di Firenze (1930-33), celebre per la pensilina a sbalzo, le scale elicoidali e la torre di Maratona: un’opera in cui l’ingegneria diventa architettura.
