Gianni Caproni (Massone d’Arco, 3 July 1886 – Rome, 27 October 1957), engineer and aviation pioneer, founded in 1908 one of the first Italian aircraft companies. He built large bombers and experimental machines and assembled a vast collection of aircraft and documents, today in the aviation museum that carries his name, at Trento.
