Francesco Agello (Casalpusterlengo, 27 December 1902 – Bresso, 24 November 1942), test pilot, on 23 October 1934 set with the Macchi M.C.72 the world speed record for piston-engined seaplanes at 709 km/h: a record still unbeaten in its class.
