Death on the Nile — Film Location
29 September 1978
John Guillermin’s Death on the Nile (1978), from Agatha Christie’s novel, took its all-star cast up the river to the real temples of Egypt, staging scenes among the colossal columns of Karnak. The great precinct of Amun at Thebes — built and rebuilt over two thousand years — supplies the grandeur against which Poirot unravels a shipboard murder.
