Death Anniversary: Giuseppe Amisani — September 8, 1941

Giuseppe Amisani died on 8 September 1941 on the Monte di Portofino, of a heart attack, during a walk with the journalist Giulio De Benedetti and the writer Salvator Gotta. He had spent his last years on that coast and painted it often. He was buried in Mede, the town where he was born. His paintings are in the Galleria d’Arte Moderna in Milan, the Ricci Oddi in Piacenza and the Museo Borgogna in Vercelli.
