From 1942 she drew for Bellezza, the magazine directed by Gio Ponti, and it was Ponti who brought her into the interiors of the transatlantic liners — the Conte Grande, the Conte Biancamano, the Andrea Doria, whose dining room held her still lifes painted on glass. Collage, ceramics, fashion, glass, interiors: for a long time the range was held against her as mere decoration.
