Carlo Guzzi died on 3 November 1964, the day before his seventy-fifth birthday. He had stayed at the head of the firm’s design work until 1961, when the Lodola — his last creation — went into production.
A note on this date. The place of death is not settled: the Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani says he died at Lecco, while the Piaggio Group, which owns Moto Guzzi today, gives Davos in Switzerland. This page follows the Dizionario Biografico. We publish it with the warning rather than leave the page out, and if you can point us to a register or an archive that carries it we will confirm or correct it.
Share your photos of events: they stay published under your name as the author. The more they're seen, the more you get noticed — and soon a contest will reward the most appreciated photos.
