Travel tips from CHO

Children under fourteen enter the Hermitage free

The State Hermitage in St Petersburg admits children under fourteen free of charge on any day, whatever their nationality, and fourteen-to-seventeen-year-olds free every Thursday; the age is checked against a document at the door. Everyone else enters by a timed slot, bought online in advance or at the ticket office on the day, and the museum is closed on Mondays.
