Partner Institutions
Universities, academies and schools of architecture, art, conservation and heritage that work with Cultural Heritage Online — listed by field and by country, each with its own page and a link to its website.
What a partner institution receives
- Its own page on the publication. When an institution joins, we open its institutional account and its public page: logo, a short presentation, and a link to its website — to the home page or to the page it prefers, such as admissions or an events calendar. Where the institution occupies a historic building, the building can also have its own entry in the archive, with the same link.
- A media partner for its events. Lectures, exhibitions, open days, conferences, restoration sites opened to the public: Cultural Heritage Online publishes them in its events calendar, linked to the archive map, under the institution’s name. The editors may also cover them in the magazine, at their discretion. If the institution wishes, it credits Cultural Heritage Online as media partner on the events we cover.
- A place in this directory, by field and by country, with its logo linking to its page.
- Free professional access for its students and faculty, as described on the CHO Academic page.
How the events reach the page: Sofia
Institutions do not need to learn a new system. Sofia, the publication’s editorial assistant, does the writing:
- Send what you have. The poster, two photographs and the essentials — what, where, when — to sofia@culturalheritageonline.com, or on WhatsApp at +1 307 445 9906.
- Sofia writes the page and sends it back to you as a preview, exactly as it will appear.
- It is published under the institution’s name once you say yes — never before.
The institutional account is free and includes one event and one page a month; staff who prefer to publish themselves find the same forms in the account’s personal area.
The directory
The programme opened in October 2026, and no institution is listed yet. Institutions appear here as they confirm, never before: a name on this page means the institution has joined.
The directory is organised by field, and within each field by country:
Architecture
Schools and departments of architecture, urbanism and design.
Art & Art History
Academies of fine arts and departments of art history.
Conservation & Restoration
Conservation schools, restoration programmes and laboratories.
Archaeology
Institutes and departments of archaeology.
Heritage & Museum Studies
Heritage management, museum studies and cultural tourism.
History
Departments of history and historical research centres.
Begin with “Partner institution”: the institution, the department, the country, and the page of your website you would like us to link to.
