Mistero aereo by Fillia, 1930–31

Mistero aereo is an abstract aeropittura painting by Fillia (Luigi Colombo), executed in 1930–31. The work exemplifies the most abstract current of Futurist aeropittura and is held at the Museo dell’Aeronautica Gianni Caproni in Trento.

Spedali Riuniti, Livorno by Ghino Venturi

The Spedali Riuniti hospital complex in Livorno was designed by Roman-school architect Ghino Venturi and constructed from 1929 onwards. Originally named after fascist official Costanzo Ciano, the hospital occupies a large site between Viale Alfieri and the city centre.
