Agrippa, genero dell’imperatore Augusto, per alimentare le prime terme pubbliche di Roma portò in città l’aqua Virgo, le cui sorgenti erano all’VIII miglio della via Collatina, inaugurandolo il 9 giugno del 19 a.C.. Una passeggiata ci porterà alla scoperta e all’illustrazione del percorso dell’acquedotto nel Campo Marzio; il demolito Arco di Claudio sulla via Lata e i resti ancora visibili in via del Nazareno e sotto la Rinascente di via del Tritone.
