History

The restaurant’s own website says the idea for Spazio Tiziano began as a sketch on a bar napkin, and that a group of people with decades of experience in catering conceived a new kind of restaurant with a warm atmosphere focused on good food and drink. The site also mentions that the building stands in a district of tree-lined avenues and elegant residential buildings. The neighbouring Circolo Tennis Paolo Rosi traces its foundation to 1972, and the tennis club’s site records that Adriano Panatta grew up on these courts, where his father Ascenzio was the caretaker of the Tennis Club Parioli on Viale Tiziano.
